Learn from the best

Students learn from and work with, some of the best educators and performers in the industry, benefiting from their knowledge, expertise and experience. Staff are connected to industry and many hold positions in orchestras and national companies. RCS regularly invite guest artists to give lessons, masterclasses and performances across all degree programme.  

Perform

The curriculum is built around performance and each year we programme 600+ performances across our five professional venues as well as venues across the country and internationally. Recent performance opportunities include productions staged at the Edinburgh Festivals, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Crazy Coqs cabaret venue in London and tour of Scotland with Scottish Ballet.

Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduates are making an impact on stage, screen, behind the scenes and in classrooms all over the world, with 99.2% of undergraduate respondents in work or further study (HESA, 16/17).
